“Just one touch,” said Leelamaniamma, as she embraced Mohanlal, fulfilling one of the biggest dreams of her life.

The 80-year-old from Aimury Madavana Veedu is overjoyed as she saw Mohanlal, touched him and spoke to him during the shoot for ' Drishyam 3 ''.In response, Mohanlal hugged her.

How the meeting happened?

According to Mathrubhumi, 80 year old Leelamaniamma got the chance to meet Mohanlal recently when the shooting of Drishyam 3 was taking place at the Sacred Heart Church in Aimury.

Knowing that the shoot was happening, she dressed up in a new set mundu and blouse, and arrived at the location with her grandson Shyamkrishna. There was a huge crowd. No one was being allowed inside the altar area where the shooting was going on. Many others saw Mohanlal from a distance and left. But Leelamaniamma waited. She told the film crew that she would go only after meeting Lal. Finally, around 5 pm, when Mohanlal came to know that a devoted fan was waiting, he came near Leelamaniamma. While asking her about her family and home, she asked, “May I touch you?” and he lovingly hugged her. She also shared that she wished to sing for him a song she had written about Mohanlal, but due to lack of time, it didn’t happen.



A hardcore fan of Mohanlal, Leelamaniamma watches all his films repeatedly on TV. 'Aaraam Thampuran' is her most favorite movie. 'Thudarum' was the last film she watched in theaters along with her children. She has watched both Drishyam 1 and 2, and is eagerly waiting for the third part.
