Honda Amaze Bharat NCAP: Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) announced on Friday that its third-generation Honda Amaze The car has performed brilliantly in the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP) with a 5-star rating in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 4-star in Child Occupant Protection (COP). This achievement places it firmly in the list of safest compact sedans in the country.
Amaze achieved impressive safety scores
The new Amaze, launched in December 2024, has performed well in safety tests. According to Bharat NCAP, the car has scored: 28.33 out of 32 points in AOP, and 40.81 out of 49 points in COP. These scores make it a strong and safe choice in the segment.

India’s most affordable ADAS-enabled car
The new Honda Amaze is equipped with Honda Sensing ADAS, making it the most affordable ADAS-enabled car in India. This security package includes:
- Collision Mitigation Braking
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Lane Keeping Assist
- Road Departure Mitigation
- Lead Car Departure Alert
- and segment-leading LaneWatch Camera
These features make the driving experience safe and technologically advanced.
Strong body structure and advanced safety features
Honda Amaze is built on Honda’s ACE (Advanced Compatibility Engineering) body structure, which provides better protection during accidents. The car includes:
- 6 airbags
- ISOFIX Child Seat Mounts
- ABS with EBD
- brake assist
Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA)
The company says the new Amaze is in line with Honda’s global vision under which it aims to eliminate road accident deaths involving its vehicles by 2050.
