According to the holiday list of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks are going to remain closed in some parts of the country on the very first day of December. Where will there be no work tomorrow? If you live in Arunachal Pradesh or Nagaland, then your bank branch will remain closed tomorrow. Reason: On 1st December. It is a big day for both these states. ‘State Inauguration Day’ is celebrated here. Apart from this, it is also celebrated as ‘Indigenous Faith Day’ in Arunachal Pradesh. It is a local holiday, hence government offices as well as banks will not function in these two states. However, in all the other states of the country (like Delhi, UP, Bihar, Maharashtra etc.), banks will remain open normally and you will be able to get your work done. Digital services will continue as usual, even if bank branches are closed, but nowadays digital banking has made life easier. Withdrawal of money from ATM. Transferring money through mobile banking or net banking. UPI payments. All these facilities will remain operational everywhere without any interruption on 1st December. So if any of your work can be done online, then there is no need to go to the bank anyway.
