Defeat in the assembly elections, then political heat within the family due to daughter’s statement and then notice to Rabri Devi to vacate the government bungalow – amidst all this, the new house of Lalu family is now in the news.
Lalu Prasad Yadav’s personal bungalow is being built on about one to one and a half acre of land in Mahua Bagh area of Patna. This huge complex surrounded by high walls looks no less than a mansion. This two-storey house has nine big rooms and the construction work has reached the final stage. It is being told that Lalu, Rabri and Tejashwi Yadav will shift to this house after a few months. Lalu-Rabri also arrive from time to time to take stock of the bungalow under construction.
