New Delhi. Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh are experiencing severe winter and cold wave conditions are prevailing in some parts. Hilly states, especially the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, have recently received heavy snowfall, leading to cold across North India. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature at many places has dropped to zero degree Celsius or below.
