Vaibhav has become the first batsman in the world to score a century in T20 at the age of 14. He scored unbeaten 108 runs on 61 balls in this match. This was the third century of his T20 career. No player had been seen before scoring three T20 centuries at such a young age. He scored his first T20 century in IPL 2025 and his best score is 144 runs.
With this innings he also broke the record of Ayush Mahatre. Earlier in T20 cricket, there were only two players who scored two centuries before the age of 19 – Ayush Mhatre and Gustave Machon. But now Vaibhav Suryavanshi has left both of them behind by scoring three centuries before the age of 19.
