Good Morning Britain panellist Narinder Kaur, 53, has called out Holly Willoughby over the punishment she was handed down after the TV presenter pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention. The ex-This Morning host knocked a scooter rider off his bike, breaking his neck while driving her £25,000 Mini Cooper, Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court heard.

The 44-year-old Dancing on Ice star issued the plea on Tuesday, December 2, having committed the offence on August 28. The mum of three was fined £2,444, including court costs, which she must pay within a 14-day period, and she was also given six penalty points on her driving licence.

Following the plea, Narinder took to social media to comment: "No prison time. A fine instead." One fan seemed to take umbrage at the remark and leapt to Willoughby's defence, writing: "It was an accident. It was careless driving, not dangerous driving." Narinder responded: "Yes... and? I'm repeating the article."

When another person chimed in, accusing Kaur of jealousy, she shot back: "Jealousy that she broke someone's neck?? I just said she got a fine and no prison time - I've simply repeated the article."

Kaur frequently appears on ITV shows such as Good Morning Britain, where she airs her views on the issues of the day; however, she has never directly worked with Willoughby.

The case was listed under Willoughby's married name, Baldwin. She chose not to appear in person but rather entered a guilty plea without attending.

The court heard the claimant suffered a neck fracture and a broken toe in the collision.

Prosecutor Geraldine Dickinson said: "The defendant was driving [the Mini] in London. The intention was to turn right, which she did without indicating, and the rider was thrown from the motorbike."

The rider told the court he was slowing down to stop when Willoughby turned right without indicating. "This caused me to be thrown to the ground in the carriageway," he explained.

Aisling Byrnes, who was defending Willoughby, told the court: "She was horrified to find she had caused this accident and the injury, that really upset her."

Ms Byrnes added: "She is extremely remorseful. She left her vehicle and went straight to the driver of the moped and offered him water and her phone, and remained at the scene until the officers arrived. She admitted guilt at the scene and pleaded guilty via post as soon as she got the form."
