New Delhi. Before the commencement of proceedings on the third day of the winter session of Parliament, leaders of the Congress-led Indi alliance protested near Makar Dwar against the three new labor laws. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Deputy Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Gaurav Gogoi, Pramod Tiwari and senior leaders of many parties participated in the protest.
The leaders stood in a queue, carrying posters and banners in their hands and kept raising slogans like save the rights of workers, say no to corporate jungle raj, there should be justice for workers, take back anti-labor laws. The protesters raised loud slogans in the Parliament complex demanding abolition of labor laws. Congress and the Indi alliance accuse the new labor laws of undermining workers’ rights, safety and social security.
