The singer confirmed her engagement to long-time partner Maxx Morando and announced that she’s officially off the market. At the premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash, Miley proudly flaunted her bold yellow gold-diamond engagement ring, instantly making headlines worldwide. And let’s be real, this isn’t your average ring.


Miley’s cushion-cut diamond is estimated between 4 and 5 carats and sits on a thick 14-karat yellow gold band. The price tag? Hold onto your wallets. This chunky engagement ring features a roughly 1.3 length-to-width ratio and is set in a trendy gold east-west bezel design, which is all the rage in today’s bridal market. The modified cushion-cut detailing, combined with a minimalist aesthetic and clear clarity, could be worth up to $450,000, around ₹4.05 crore, as claimed by the People magazine. Of course, the final value can vary depending on whether the diamond is lab-grown or mined.

The east-west orientation is having a moment right now. The unique design elongates the finger beautifully, while pairing it with a bold, chunky gold band, like Miley’s, makes it look modern, confident, and totally statement-worthy. Definitely an upgrade from the ex’s diamond

Back in 2012, Liam Hemsworth proposed with an 18-carat yellow gold engagement ring, custom-designed by Neil Lane, featuring a 3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond. The stone was antique, hand-cut between 1880 and 1890. Liam worked closely with Neil Lane to craft this unique piece, valued at around $250,000, roughly ₹2.25 crore. The couple married in 2018 but filed for divorce two years later.


Miley’s new ring, designed by Jackie Aish, features a thick cigar-band style and is now considered one of Hollywood’s priciest engagement rings. Miley and Maxx were first linked romantically in December 2021, and in the following year, they confirmed their relationship after being spotted getting cosy in West Hollywood.

The duo has also collaborated professionally, working together on two tracks, Handstand and Violet Chemistry. Maxx has produced multiple songs on Miley’s ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, and even co-wrote the title track.
