According to People magazine, 25-year-old Bosch spoke about her pageant victory during an interview with American anchor JuJu Chang. In a preview shared publicly on Tuesday, she is seen saying: “My father has nothing to do with the organization and it’s crazy.”
“They make this campaign of hate,” the beauty queen added. “How are you going to buy a crown? Maybe in Walmart you can buy a crown, yeah. But not in Miss Universe for sure.”
The 2025 Miss Universe pageant closed on Nov. 21 in Bangkok, Thailand, with representatives from Thailand, Venezuela, the Philippines, and Ivory Coast filling the first, second, third, and fourth positions respectively.
Shortly after the event, former judge Omar Harfouch, a Lebanese-French musician who resigned from the pageant’s panel before the final, called Bosch a “fake winner” on Instagram and claimed her father used his ties to influence the results.
Bosch also spoke about a tense pre-pageant confrontation with Nawat Itsaragrisil, then the executive director of the Miss Universe Organization, who criticized her for not promoting Thailand and, at one point, called her “dumb,” reported the New York Post.
“I was scared at that time,” Bosch admitted. “I thought speaking out might cost me the crown. But I couldn’t stay quiet because, in every case, your dignity is more important than any price or any dream you have.”
Addressing rumors that she might relinquish her crown, Bosch said firmly: “I will never step away from this crown.”
“I’m not here for fame or modeling or searching for a husband,” she said. “I’m here because God put a purpose on my heart. I have a mission, and I will do that all the years, to serve others, to help.”
