Annapurna Jayanti fast story

According to the popular story, once Lord Shiva called this entire world a liar. Goddess Parvati felt very sad after knowing that even the food in the entire world is false and she eliminated food from the entire world i.e. finished the food from the world. Due to this, there was a severe famine in the world. People started yearning for grains also. Seeing this, Mahadev realized his mistake and apologized to Goddess Parvati. Then Goddess Parvati took the incarnation of Annapurna. Mahadev was the first to become a beggar and obtain food from Goddess Annapurna. After this, Goddess Annapurna first provided food to the people of Kashi because it is the city of Mahadev. After this he provided food to the whole world.
