Bengaluru/Mangaluru. In Karnataka, the discussion of conflict for power between CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar had gained momentum recently. Both the leaders went to Delhi and met Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge. After which the Congress high command had asked Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar to resolve the issue together. Following instructions from the Congress high command, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah called Shivakumar for breakfast. Then DK Shivakumar called Siddaramaiah for breakfast and talked to him. In such a situation, it seemed that the power struggle between the two has stopped, but now a reaction of Siddaramaiah is raising the question whether everything is really fine in Karnataka?

Actually, DK Shivkumar has reached Delhi to attend a wedding and a rally on Congress vote theft. When asked questions about this, Siddaramaiah gave a strange reaction. Siddaramaiah, who reached an event in Mangaluru, said that let him (DK Shivakumar) go. I will go when I am called. I have not received the call yet. Siddaramaiah also told the media that if any instructions come from the Congress high command, only party MP and General Secretary KC Venugopal will deliver them. On the other hand, before leaving for Delhi, DK Shivakumar in Bengaluru said that he will attend a private program. Shivkumar said that his Delhi visit has no political importance.

Recently, when there was talk of power struggle in Karnataka, DK Shivakumar had given rise to speculations by giving several posts and statements. Shivkumar had talked about a confidential agreement. In one post he had written about ‘sticking to the point’. However, after breakfast with Siddaramaiah, Shivakumar held a joint press conference with him. In that press conference, DK Shivakumar had said that neither he had ever said anything against CM Siddaramaiah nor given any reaction. Shivakumar had said that he and Siddaramaiah would together make a strategy for the 2028 Karnataka Assembly elections and 2029 Lok Sabha elections.
