YouTube has finally released its first YouTube Recap feature. Through this, users will be able to see a complete analysis of their videos watched, top channels, interests, and watching patterns throughout the year. While this feature isn't currently available in India, Google says it will be rolled out to Indian users by the end of the week.
What is YouTube Recap?
According to the company, YouTube Recap is a feature that presents your interests, deep dives, favorite creators, and video-watching patterns throughout the year in the form of unique cards. Users will see up to 12 cards in total, based on their preferences and watching habits.
YouTube says that before developing this feature, nine rounds of feedback were collected and over 50 concept tests were conducted, after which its final design was developed.
A Special Feature for Music Lovers
If you're a music enthusiast, YouTube Recap will also provide a glimpse of your top artists, top songs, top genres, podcasts, and international music listening. This data will be available within the YouTube Music app.
