Derby major incident LIVE: 200 homes evacuated as bomb squad swarm over 'explosive fears'

A major incident has been declared in Derby with 200 homes to be evacuated and police arresting two suspects on suspicion of explosives offences. An evacuation zone has been set up as a precaution after a police warrant at an address in Vulcan Street.
Two men, one in his 40s and another in his 50s, were arrested and remain in custody, according to the police. A major incident has been declared. Police, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, East Midlands Ambulance Service and Derby City Council have been at the scene.
