Instagram down: Global outage as hundreds of users face 'audio unavailable' error

Hundreds of users have complained about an outage seemingly affecting Instagram. The popular video and photo-sharing social media platform appears to be suffering issues on Thursday, with hundreds of people taking to the site Downdetector and other social media platform to speak about the problems they are experiencing.
Over 300 users took to the site within minutes just before 3.45pm on December 4, sharing issues related to Instagram. Users worldwide are complaining they are experiencing issues with audio on their Stories. One wrote: "Is @instagram down because in my story I put a song that cannot play it because it says 'audio unavailable'."
