Central Sanskrit University has announced recruitment for 59 Assistant Professor and College Librarian positions. Interested candidates can apply online until December 20, 2025.

Under the Ministry of Education's Central Scheme for the Promotion of Sanskrit Education, Central Sanskrit University (CSU) has announced recruitment for the positions of Assistant Professor and College Librarian.

Interested candidates can apply online by visiting CSU's official website, sanskrit.nic.in. The deadline for applications is December 20, 2025.

The university has invited applications for a total of 59 positions. These positions include Assistant Professor and College Librarian positions in various disciplines. For Assistant Professor positions, candidates must have a Master's degree in the relevant subject and at least 50% marks.

Furthermore, candidates must have passed the NET or SLET/SET examination conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or must hold a PhD degree. For the position of College Librarian, candidates must have a Master's degree in Library Science and a minimum of 55% marks.

The selection process for this recruitment is primarily based on interviews and medical tests. Candidates will be shortlisted after reviewing their applications. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, where they must bring all required documents. This will be followed by a medical test.

Candidates selected for the position of Assistant Professor will receive a monthly salary of ₹57,700 to ₹1,82,400, along with other allowances and benefits.
