Recently famous personalities Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain were also under the public gaze but all for the wrong reasons. On the day they celebrated their special milestone news of an alleged raid on their family business cast a shadow over the celebration. The news came on their fourth wedding anniversary. Earlier that day Ankita had shared a heartfelt message about their journey. She wrote “4 years of us. Of growing learning falling and rising side by side.. If this is what four years feel like we’re ready for the long long lifetime ahead… Always us. #AnVi ki Kahani.” GST raids linked to Vicky Jain’s family business As per reports Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain’s family came under scrutiny after the Chhattisgarh State GST department conducted extensive search operations linked to coal trading firms associated with Vicky’s business family in Bilaspur. The enforcement action was reportedly carried out on the directions of State GST Secretary Mukesh Bansal. The GST enforcement teams from Raipur also conducted simultaneous searches at 11 locations covering offices residential premises washeries and industrial plants connected to Mahavir Coal Washery Feel Coal and Paras Coal & Beneficiation. The operations began on December 12 and continued late into the night. Rs 27.5 crore surrendered during the investigation As per reports during their search the officials reportedly uncovered suspected manipulation of tax input. As per preliminary findings the family initially surrendered around Rs 10 crore. On the following day an additional Rs 11 crore was deposited. Another coal washery subsequently surrendered Rs 6.5 crore taking the total tax surrender to ₹Rs 7.5 crore officials said. The multi-location raids in Bilaspur reportedly involved three major coal trading groups and authorities confirmed that the surrender amount was part of an ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities. No official statement from the couple yet As of now Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain have not issued any official statement addressing the GST searches or the tax surrender.
