OnePlus 15R and OnePlus 15R Ace Edition launched in India

OnePlus today unveiled its affordable smartphone, the OnePlus 15R, along with the OnePlus 15R Ace Edition and OnePlus Pad Go 2 in India. The company has released several teasers over the past few weeks regarding the design, colors, and features of these devices. The OnePlus 15R is confirmed to come with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a large battery.

Launch event details in India

The launch event of OnePlus 15R, OnePlus 15R Ace Edition and OnePlus Pad Go 2 was held today, December 17 at 7 PM. The event was live streamed on OnePlus’ official website and e-commerce site, Amazon. Viewers could also watch the event on YouTube and various social media platforms.

Specifications of OnePlus 15R

  • Display with 165Hz refresh rate.
  • Qualcomm’s latest 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, with G2 Wi-Fi chip and Touch Response Chip.
  • OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16.
  • Dual rear camera setup: 50MP primary and 8MP ultra-wide camera, along with a 32MP front camera.
  • Large 7,400mAh battery.
  • IP66+IP68+IP69+IP69K rating, which ensures protection against dust and water.

The company has not given much information about OnePlus 15R Ace Edition. Its features will be revealed only after today’s launch.

OnePlus Pad Go 2 information

OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet will have a 12.1-inch display and 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. Its specialty is its 10,500mAh battery and fast charging support. Apart from this, it will come with 5G connectivity and single rear camera setup. This model is the successor to the already existing OnePlus Pad Go.

price expectation

The company has not yet revealed the official price of OnePlus 15R and OnePlus 15R Ace Edition. According to the recent leak, OnePlus 15R will be offered in two variants 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. According to reports, the variant with 512GB storage could be priced above Rs 52,000, while the price of the 256GB variant is likely to be between Rs 47,000 to Rs 49,000.
