Google Pay launches Rupay-UPI credit card with Axis Bank, will get instant cashback

Google Pay – Axis Bank Rupay-UPI Credit Card : Popular UPI payment app Google Pay has partnered with Axis Bank to launch a co-branded credit card on the Rupay network. With this new card, customers can link it to their UPI account and use it for merchant payments. You get instant cashback or rewards through this card.
This card differs from typical credit card industry practice, where rewards or cashback are usually awarded at the end of the credit cycle month.

Sharath Bulusu, senior director and product manager at Google, said, “We have innovated the way rewards are used. You earn instant rewards on every transaction and can immediately use it on the next transaction.”
Mastercard and Visa credit cards cannot be linked to UPI. Both Rupay and UPI are operated by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
Another feature of Google Pay Credit Card is that it provides more flexibility in making payments. Where customers can pay the monthly bill in EMI of 6 or 9 months.
