Christmas cheer was in full force merely 48 hours before Andrew Tate and Chase DeMoor square off in Dubai.

Tate, 39, will be making his Misfits Boxing debut just two months after being named the promotion's new CEO. The controversial influencer has not fought in five years. The 'Cobra,' a former kickboxing world champion, has hinted at a return to competitive action over the last few months.

The British-American stunned fans after it was announced that he had been thrown straight into a title fight against DeMoor - who will be taking part in his seventh bout this year. Both men have traded barbs on several occasions in recent times. DeMoor - a former Too Hot to Handle star - pleaded with his upcoming adversary to put his six-million-dollar Bugatti on the line on fight night at the launch press conference.

Unsurprisingly, Tate refused, but DeMoor just would not back down. The two fighters met once again in Dubai on Thursday evening at a final press conference, but the ex-TV reality sensation opted to showcase his class, rather than verbally attack his bitter rival. After Misfits fighter Warren Spencer began handing out presents to everyone on stage, DeMoor too got into the festivities.

While he did not have a gift for everyone, the 29-year-old was eager to hand Tate a present. Reluctant at first, the 39-year-old eventually ripped apart the rather delicately wrapped present to find a miniature model Bugatti - not quite worth as much as his three top range motors.

"They call me 'champa clause.' This is all for you," said a rather cheerful DeMoor. "It is Christmas, you have got to give the boss some gifts sometimes," he continued. A bemused Tate replied: "Another Bugatti," to which the champion hit back with: "And what colour is that Bugatti?"

Tate, appreciative at first, was in no mood for joking around: "Oh... I get it. I am going to say red, and you are going to say 'I am going to make your face red. No, do it! I do not want to ruin your joke. That's so f****** funny," the 39-year-old remarked. DeMoor clarified the gag, stating: "No, Andy. The jokes is, when I am punching you on Saturday, I am going to be asking you what colour your Bugatti is, and now you have a red one!"

After a long stint away from the ring, Tate is grateful to get the opportunity to fight again, and admits he would have taken anyone on Saturday night. Tate - who still faces criminal charges, including for rape in the UK, which he denies - teased his future, revealing he is more than willing to clean out the division.

"F*** Chase, bruv. F*** Chase. I wanted to fight for a long time. This hiatus was not completely up to me. The matrix got me tangled in some garbage, but I am back and Mams (Taylor) and I were talking a little bit about the business... I had to take KSI's company, become the CEO," Tate said.

"And then I thought 'why don't I go in there and do it myself. And Mams is a fantastic businessman and he managed to put it all together. So, here I am. I am here to fight. And there is no bigger waste of youth then sitting around wondering if you could do something. I am not that guy. I am not a what if guy. I am a go for it guy. I know I am going to win. I cannot sit around wondering what could have been. So, I am here to fight. I would have fought anyone. Chase is the guy they gave me. So, I am going to beat him up. And after I beat him up, I will beat up whoever else they want me to beat up. I do not give a f***. I am here to fight."
