TMC Protest outside Home Minister’s office: The country’s politics has heated up after the ED raid on the I-PAC office in Kolkata before the West Bengal Assembly elections. Against this, TMC MPs protested outside the office of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. Meanwhile, security personnel took TMC MP Mahua Moitra into custody.

MP Mahua Moitra, who was protesting outside the Union Home Minister’s office, said, “Yesterday the whole of India, Bengal saw how the Home Ministry misused the ED. The ED was sent to steal political, strategic information of our party. Mamata Banerjee is a lioness, she protected the property of our party.” TMC MP Derek O’Brien and other party leaders were detained while protesting outside the office of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. TMC leaders were protesting against the ED raid at I-PAC office in Kolkata yesterday.
TMC MP Kirti Azad said, “They are working in an undemocratic manner; the raids were also illegal. They loot and accuse us of scams. They took away our strategy and candidate list. BJP’s internal survey shows that they will not get more than 25 seats. But Mamata Banerjee will get a huge majority as CM and will become the Prime Minister.”
