
Ayodhya, 10 January. On Saturday, a person was detained while trying to offer Namaz in the Ram temple complex located in Ram city Ayodhya. Police have identified the accused as Abdul Ahmed Shaikh. According to the Aadhaar card found from the accused person, he is a resident of Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir.

It is being told that Abdul Ahmed was trying to offer Namaz on the southern wall of the Ram temple complex, when some devotees noticed him. After this, the security personnel were immediately informed and the accused was taken into custody.
According to sources, after being stopped from offering Namaz, Abdul started raising sect-specific slogans. The security forces present at the spot took him into custody. The man is being interrogated by many top officials of the intelligence agency and police. The district administration has not made any comment regarding this matter.

According to information received from police sources, some other people had also tried to offer namaz in the temple premises. The police is currently trying to identify others also.
