When will the Bihar BPSC AEDO exam be held?
According to the recruitment advertisement number 87/2025 issued by the commission for the Assistant Education Development Officer post, the examination will be held in April 2026. The competitive examination will be conducted on April 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, and 21, 2026, at various examination centers in Bihar. Information regarding the exam center, reporting time, etc., will be provided through the admit card. The admit card will be released on the official website well before the examination. Currently, the commission has not provided any information regarding the admit card release date.
Why was the exam postponed?
The BPSC AEDO recruitment examination was initially scheduled to be held in three phases on January 10 & 11, 2026, January 12 & 13, 2026, and January 15 & 16, 2026. It has now been postponed to April 2026. The commission cited administrative reasons for the postponement. The examination will now be conducted in three phases to ensure its smooth conduct at all examination centers. Candidates are advised to keep checking the BPSC website for the latest updates related to the recruitment.

BPSC AEDO Exam Pattern: What will the exam be like? The BPSC Assistant Education Development Officer recruitment exam will consist of 300 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question will carry one mark.

The commission has now reopened the online application window for applications once again.
