Tottenham are still on the lookout for more January signings following the arrival of Conor Gallagher. The midfielder was snapped up from Atletico Madrid earlier this week in a £34.7million deal, with Spurs outbidding Premier League rivals Aston Villa.
Following the Gallagher transfer announcement, the club confirmed that John Heitinga would be joining as Thomas Frank's assistant coach after a stint as Ajax head coach. With long-term injuries to Richarlison and Mohammed Kudus, and the sale of Brennan Johnson to Crystal Palace earlier this month, attacking reinforcements are expected to be high on the agenda for the north London club.
Spurs have also seen several other departures, with Damola Ajayi heading to Bromley, Jamie Donley signing for Oxford United, Manor Solomon moving to Fiorentina, Borussia Monchengladbach securing the services of Kota Takai, and Yang min-Hyeok making the switch from Portsmouth to Coventry City. Manchester City forward Savinho has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham, but with the winger now sidelined through injury, focus appears to have shifted to another attacker on the fringes of Pep Guardiola's squad.

'Interest' in £59m Man City starTottenham are reportedly amongst the clubs interested in Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush, alongside Villa and Galatasaray. The claim comes from Turkish journalist Cagatay Celik, via Haber Sarikirmizi, who says that Galatasaray have been presented with the opportunity to sign him on loan, though one obstacle stands in the way of that potential move.
In quotes gathered by Sport Witness, he stated: "George Gardi has proposed Manchester City’s Egyptian footballer Omar Marmoush to Galatasaray. Aston Villa and Tottenham are interested in Marmoush, whose priority is to stay in England. The Egyptian footballer is only considering leaving Manchester City on loan."
Marmoush has featured for just 389 minutes this season, contributing one goal and one assist. Despite Egypt's elimination in the AFCON semi-finals, he has stayed on for the third-place play-off against Nigeria. City signed Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt during last season's January transfer window for £59million.
Striker eyedTottenham are amongst six Premier League sides expressing strong interest in Wolves forward Jorgen Strand Larsen, according to TeamTalk. Newcastle United, Everton, Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Leeds United have been named as the other interested parties, with the latter having made an enquiry, The Athletic reports.
However, their report has clarified that no offer has been submitted yet and there's no certainty the move will materialise given the competition for his signature. The 25-year-old has had a tough season at Wolves this year, netting just six goals from 23 appearances and only one of those in the Premier League.
