He completed his graduation in Biology and Anthropology from the University of North Carolina and also obtained a medical degree from there. After this he did Master in Public Health from Emory University.
Along with this, Dr. Verma received training in Gynecology from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and completed fellowship from Emory University. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. Apart from this, she also serves as the Senior Advisor for Reproductive Health Policy at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
