New Delhi, 16 January. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday congratulated and congratulated everyone on the completion of 10 years of ‘Startup India’ initiative. PM Modi further wrote, “Startups are the engines of change that are shaping the future of our economy and society. On the one hand, they are solving the challenges facing our planet, on the other hand, they are also creating new opportunities for people. I am proud of every person who dared to dream big, challenged the old ways, took risks and brought about a big change through their startups.”
He said that the government is working with all stakeholders to further strengthen India’s startup ecosystem. The ‘Reform Express’ that India has initiated has created a very good environment for startups to venture into previously unimaginable sectors like space and defence, which were previously unthinkable. I am proud that our startups are playing an important role in creating ‘self-reliant India’. We are committed to supporting our youth who want to take risks and become problem solvers.
In another post, Prime Minister Modi wrote, “This day is also an opportunity to recognize the mentors, incubators, investors, educational institutions and other partners who support startups. Their support and knowledge goes a long way in encouraging our youth to innovate and contribute to development.” On this occasion, PM Modi wrote in Subhashit, “With their determination and dedication, our young friends are making new records every day in the world of startups. Their zeal and passion is going to be the biggest force in realizing the dream of a developed India.”
Let us tell you that ‘Startup India’ is a major initiative of the Government of India, which was launched on 16 January 2016 under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT). To recognize the contribution of ‘Startups’ to India’s GDP, Prime Minister Modi had announced to officially celebrate ‘National Startup Day’ in 2022.
