Urmston shooting LIVE: One person injured as gunshots fired in Manchester

A huge crime scene has been established after a shooting in a busy town centre.
A significant police presence has been deployed on Higher Road near the railway station in Urmston town centre, Greater Manchester this evening (Friday, January 16).
Armed officers have been summoned to the scene - one person has been seriously injured, according to the force. One eyewitness stated that at least 10 police vehicles were in attendance, MEN reports.
