Rahu Ketu Movie Review: Sometimes a comedy film is not limited to just making laughs, but also gives a big lesson of life in this harsh Kalyug. ‘Rahu Ketu’ is one such film, which along with entertainment, also forces one to think. In the film, the audience once again gets to see their favorite Fukrey Boys ‘Varun Sharma and Pulkit Samrat’. However, it is important to clarify that Rahu Ketu is not ‘Fukrey 4’ in any way. This is a film based on a completely different concept and new story, which surprises you at every turn.
story of the film
The story starts with Piyush Mishra, who weaves a very beautiful story through his powerful voice and songs. Throughout the film, he takes the story forward in the style of puzzles, which keeps the audience engaged. Their objective is clear…to root out corruption from Himachal.
To complete his mission, he hands over a magical book to his nephew. The rules of this book are very simple but dangerous. ‘Whatever is written in it will become true…’ It is from here that the story takes an interesting turn. Two characters are created in the book, Rahu and Ketu, who come into the real world as soon as it is written. The plan is to make both of them ‘wretched’, so that corruption can be eliminated from all the corrupt people on whom their shadow falls. Now the question is whether Rahu-Ketu will explode like an atom bomb, or will it explode like a tickle bomb? This suspense makes the film interesting.
How is the acting?
Overall, Rahu Ketu is a solid family entertainer. The pairing of Varun Sharma and Pulkit Samrat has been liked by the audience before and this time too it does not disappoint. There are many great comic punches in the film. Amit Sial adds a lot of color to his character. Chunky Pandey entertains in the role of a criminal and smuggler from Himachal. Shailene Pandey has also done a good job. She adds glamor to the screen with her presence. It can be said that she can also become the new national crush of boys in the future.
brilliant direction
This film is Vipul Vig’s first film as a director. Before this, he has scripted films like Fukrey and here his command of storytelling is clearly visible. Despite there being many elements in the film, everything has been presented with balance. Nowhere does the story feel unnecessarily dragged on.
Verdict
You can watch ‘Rahu Ketu’ with the entire family. Children will especially like this film. Along with entertainment, the film also gives a good social message.
