Ankita Bhandari Case: Actress Urmila Sanawar deposited her mobile in the court, nominated former MLA Suresh Rathore remained absent.

Dehradun. In the viral audio episode to Ankita Bhandari Murder Case, actress Urmila Sanawar appeared in the District Court on Friday and deposited her mobile phone. Under the supervision of the court, as per the prescribed procedure, the mobile was sealed and kept safe in the court. At the same time, former MLA Suresh Rathore, named in the case, could not appear in the court citing health reasons. On his behalf, the advocate presented an application in the court and asked for time till the next date. Taking cognizance of the application, the court fixed the date of upcoming hearing.

Considering the sensitivity of the matter, tight security arrangements were made in and around the Roshnabad Court Complex. A heavy police force remained deployed in the court premises, while continuous patrolling was carried out to deal with any untoward situation. During this time, the investigators of the case, Inspector RK Saklani and Inspector Yogesh Dutt, along with Sidcul Police Station In-charge Nitesh Sharma were also present in the court along with the police team.

Along with monitoring the process of depositing mobile phones, the police officers also maintained the security arrangements. According to sources, as part of the further investigation process, voice samples of both the parties will also be submitted in the court. The direction of further legal action in the case will be decided only after the investigation report of the voice sample comes. Keeping all the facts in mind, the court has set the date for the next hearing.
