There is great news for candidates preparing for the Scientific Officer recruitment examination in Haryana. The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released the official notification for recruitment to the posts of Senior Scientific Officer. Candidates who wish to apply for these Senior Scientific Officer positions can do so from January 19th. The last date for application is February 18, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must possess an M.Sc. degree in Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, etc.  In addition, candidates must have three years of research experience.

Salary
Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 53,100 to Rs. 1,67,800 per month.

Age Limit
The age of the candidates will be calculated as of February 1, 2025.  Candidates must be at least 20 years old and not more than 45 years old. Age relaxation is provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Application Fee
Candidates with disabilities from Haryana state are exempted from the application fee. The application fee for OBC, SC, BC-A, ESM, and EWS candidates from Haryana state is Rs. 250. For all other unreserved category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 1000.
