The beloved BBC drama, Call the Midwife, returns with its 15th season and the second episode, following a "distressing" premiere, introduces a new medical technique that could revolutionise obstetrics. Meanwhile, Poplar is gripped by fear due to a potential rabies outbreak.

Cyril Robinson (portrayed by Zephryn Taitte) takes centre stage in this episode alongside Rosalind Clifford (Natalie Quarry), as he meets her parents for the first time, marking a significant milestone in their relationship as he seeks their approval.

Back at Nonnatus House, all of the main cast will return for the second episode, including Jenny Agutter as Sister Julienne and Judy Parfitt as Sister Monica Joan. The second episode also features an extensive guest cast.

Josephine Clifford - Natasha Joseph

Rosalind's mother is played by Natasha Joseph, who has featured in major soaps such as Holby City, Emmerdale, and Coronation Street.

Most recently, she starred as Rita in Jingle Bell Heist.

Ernest Bagnall - Nicolas Tennant

Hazel Rogers - Lauren Moakes
