An elderly woman lost her life in a tragic accident at around 6.30 pm on Sunday evening in Tola Hadwariya of Gram Panchayat Kachnarwa of the local police station area. It was told that about 75 year old Jaso Devi was sitting in the fire to warm herself. Meanwhile, a fire suddenly broke out in the straw-covered hut and the flames spread all around.
Surrounded by the sudden fire, the old woman could not come out. Hearing the screams, the family members and nearby people reached the spot, but by then he had died. After the incident, there was chaos in the family and a wave of mourning ran in the entire village. As soon as the information was received, the local police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it to Duddhi for post-mortem. Further legal action is being taken by the police.
