British actor Steve Coogan launched a furious rant at Reform UK and its leader, Nigel Farage, as he raged at the current state of UK politics. The Alan Partridge icon, who is no stranger to criticising Farage, claimed that his political party is "anti-human rights." Voicing his disdain for the politician, once again, the 60-year-old raged that the leader was among those who felt they could "do whatever the f*** they like" in global politics.

In a new interview with The Big Issue, Steve also took aim at President Donald Trump and admitted that he was "troubled" by the US leader's recent controversial decisions, which threaten to have a global impact. The actor stated: "I'm very troubled by the notion of what is acceptable behaviour in terms of conflict, by both what's been happening in Gaza and these military attacks by the US on the boats and killing defenceless people and somehow trying to reframe that."

Steve continued: "So I am worried about the erosion of human rights and viewing the idea of human rights as some sort of impediment and how Reform are anti-human rights because they think it's some red tape bureaucracy."

This criticism comes just six months after the BAFTA-winning star unleashed an equally furious rant about Prime Minister Keir Starmer and accused the Labour government of giving the Reform party a boost in the polls.

Speaking to The Guardian in July, the actor stated: "The success of Reform, I lay squarely at the feet of the neoliberal consensus, which has let down working people for the last 40 years, and they're fed up.

"It doesn't matter who they vote for, nothing changes for them. Keir Starmer and the Labour government have leant into supporting a broken system."

Steve added: "Their modus operandi is to mitigate the worst excesses of a broken system, and all that is is managed decline. What they're doing is putting Band-Aids on the gash in the side of the Titanic.

"We have a Labour government, and it's no different from a Conservative government in neglecting ordinary people."

This comes after the Reform Party underwent a major shake-up, following the former Tory minister Robert Jenrick's firing by Kemi Badenoch after plotting to defect to join Nigel Farage.

While the Tory leader has since claimed that Jenrick is not "a team player," he told BBC's Laura Kuenssberg: "If you want to get rid of this Labour government and have a strong reforming government to fix the country, there's frankly only one way to do that. That is to vote for Nigel [Farage], to rally behind him and Reform."
