Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was spotted laughing during a horse ride as preparations step up for his official ousting from Royal Lodge later this month. The former Prince was wearing a brown coat, brown trousers and a helmet as he enjoyed his ride in the wet weather.

The former Duke of York, who has been asked to leave his mansion, Royal Lodge in Windsor, is expected to move into a temporary property on the King's Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

A date for the move has reportedly been fixed. A source told Hello! Magazine: "Andrew and Sarah have to move out by January 25. She has stood by him all these years but is now ready to spread her wings. She won't be moving in with him to the new house on the Sandringham Estate. She won't be moving into Beatrice's Cotswolds home, though. Eugenie's home in Portugal is a contender while she finds somewhere."

Andrew is thought to be moving into temporary accommodation before he moves to Marsh Farm while renovations are being completed on the Sandringham Estate.

Marsh Farm is getting a revamp with workers installing Sky TV and a new security fence being put in place.

Sky engineers were spotted up ladders this week outside the property in Wolferton, just two miles away from Charles's Sandringham home.

Andrew has been forced out of Royal Lodge and public life in the face of a snowballing scandal over his relationship with the late paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's victims, claimed she had been forced to have sex with Andrew on three occasions when she was 17.

Andrew has always denied the allegations but paid a settlement to Ms Giuffre, who passed away in April last year.

Under pressure from his brother, King Charles, Andrew relinquished his titles, before his status as prince was finally stripped in November.
