Looking at the trends of previous CTET admit cards, it is clear that the CBSE usually releases the admit card 2 to 3 days before the exam. Sometimes, the admit card is not even released earlier than that. This is why candidates have to wait until the last moment.
When will the CTET 2026 exam be held?
The CBSE has already announced the CTET 2026 exam date. The exam will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026. This exam will be conducted in offline mode on an OMR sheet. After passing the CTET, candidates get the opportunity to become teachers in government and private schools.
CTET Exam Shifts and Timings
The CTET exam will be conducted in two shifts. Paper-II, for classes 6 to 8, will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Paper-I, for classes 1 to 5, will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must report to the exam center one hour before the start of the exam.

No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without the CTET admit card.
When will the Exam City details be released?
The exam city details are usually released before the admit card so that candidates can get information about their exam city in advance. It is expected that the CTET 2026 exam city details may be released in the last week of January or the beginning of February. Abdullah has been advised not to worry about the admit card. According to last year's trends, CBSE releases its admit cards at the last minute. Therefore, keep checking the official website regularly, make travel arrangements to the exam city, and be sure to carry your admit card and a valid ID on the day of the exam.

- Enter your application number and date of birth.
