The January transfer window is approaching its business end, with less than two weeks left for clubs to dip into the market.

As expected, it has been a relitavely quiet showing compared to the summer, with Manchester City dominating in terms of arrivals. The Citzyens acquired Antoine Semenyo in a £64million deal with Bournemouth early doors, before snapping up Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace for an initial £20m. However, that's not to say that other clubs don't have prospects on the horizon.

Chelsea have reportedly added 10 names to a shortlist as they look to bolster their attack and midfield to give Liam Rosenior the best chance of success, while Manchester United are said to be looking down the barrell of a quiet month in terms of incomings and outgoings.

However, with Ruben Amorim given his walking papers at the start of the month, it will be interesting to see if Marcus Rashford sees a route back to Old Trafford or whether Barcelona will make his fruitful season-long loan permanent in the coming months.

Elsewhere, Felix Nmecha had the ideal oportunity to showcase his skills to Tottenham on Tuesday evening, as the Lilywhites have recently been linked with the Borussia Dortmund talent. However, given Spurs secured a 2-0 win in the Champions League encounter, they may be having second thoughts about the midfielder.
