According to The Hindu, Sivakarthikeyan has officially adopted a young elephant named Prakruthi from Vandalur’s Arignar Anna Zoological Park . As part of this six-month commitment, the actor will personally fund the elephant’s dietary needs and general maintenance. Following the adoption, he noted that the primary focus of zoo officials is ensuring consistent nutrition and specialized care for the younger residents.
Sivakarthikeyan's commitment to wildlife welfare
This latest gesture is not new for Sivakarthikeyan, who has a history of supporting the inhabitants of Vandalur Zoo . In previous years, the actor had already taken on the financial responsibility for a lion and a tiger, demonstrating his long-standing dedication to wildlife conservation .
