The new year brings fresh stories, exciting pairings, and a promise of binge-worthy moments, and Netflix is already making fans excited about what’s coming. On Tuesday (January 20), the OTT giant unveiled a slate of over 30 K-dramas and movies scheduled for 2026. From a sharp romantic comedy starring Blackpink’s Jisoo (Boyfriend on Demand) to a star-studded superhero adventure (The Wonderfools, featuring Park Eun-bin and Cha Eun-woo), returning seasons of unscripted hits like Singles Inferno, and even prestige cinema from acclaimed director Lee Chang-dong (Possible Love), there’s something for everyone. This year, Netflix’s K-content lineup ensures that Indian audiences will have a variety of genres to explore from romance to thriller, comedy to drama.

The 2026 Netflix content lineup includes the following (Only includes Netflix Originals):

The Scandal, inspired by the 2003 film Untold Scandal, is a period romance about Lady Cho (Son Ye Jin) and Cho Won (Ji Chang Wook), with the story exploring forbidden love in Joseon; it’s set to release in Q3 2026.

Tantara portrays the ruthless Korean entertainment industry of the 1960s–80s, following Minja (Song Hye Kyo) and Donggu (Gong Yoo) as they chase fame; the series also stars Kim Seol Hyun and Cha Seung Won, releasing in Q4 2026.


Bloodhounds 2 brings back rebel boxers Kim Gunwoo (Woo Do Hwan) and Hong Woojin (Lee Sang Yi) to fight the formidable Baekjeong (Rain) and the International Boxing League; Park Seo Joon will make a cameo. It releases in Q2 2026.

Our Sticky Love is a rom-com about amnesiac prosecutor Go Eunsae (Ha Young) and boxing coach Jang Taeha (Jung Hae In), whose love story unfolds amid gang conflicts and memory loss.

The WONDERfools is a comedy-action adventure set in 1999, following town residents who unexpectedly gain superpowers. Park Eun Bin and Cha Eun Woo lead the cast, which includes Choi Dae Hoon and Son Hyun Joo; it releases in Q2 2026.

Notes from the Last Row, adapted from the Spanish play El Chico de la última fila, focuses on a literature professor (Choi Min Sik) who discovers the hidden writing talent of a student (Choi Hyun Wook), leading to a suspenseful, high-stakes drama; it releases in Q2 2026.

Road (working title) is a murder-mystery series about a Korean detective (Son Suk Ku) and a Japanese detective (Eita Nagayama) investigating gruesome cross-border killings, based on the webcomic Blue Road; it releases in Q4 2026.
