JAC Final Exam Dates: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the examination schedule for students of classes 8th, 9th, and 11th studying in schools across the state. Following this announcement, students, parents, and school administrations have begun their preparations. The council has stated that the examinations for all these classes will be held in the last week of February, and all question papers will be administered through OMR sheets.
The 8th-grade board examination will be held on February 24th. The exam will be conducted in two shifts on this day. In the first shift, students will have to take exams for language-related subjects. This will include an exam in Hindi, English, or one of the other languages. In the second shift, exams for subjects like Mathematics, Science, and Social Science will be conducted. Each question paper will be worth 50 marks, while the remaining 100 marks will be for internal assessment conducted by the school. JAC has clarified that the admit cards for 8th-grade students will be available on the council's official website from February 14th. Schools will have to upload the internal assessment marks online between February 26th and March 10th.
Exams for 5 Subjects
The 9th-grade annual examination will be held on February 28th and March 2nd. In this class, students will have to take exams in a total of 5 compulsory subjects, including Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. Passing at least four subjects will be mandatory. Each subject will have 40 marks of objective questions, while 10 marks will be for the internal assessment conducted at the school level.
10 Marks for 11th Grade Students will be with the School
The 11th-grade examinations will be held between February 25th and February 27th. In this class, too, students will have to take exams in five subjects. Passing in four of these subjects is mandatory. Each subject will have 40 marks of multiple-choice questions. 10 marks will be for internal assessment conducted at the Plus Two school or college level. Admit cards for 11th-grade students will be issued from February 16th. Following the announcement of the final exams by JAC, schools have intensified their preparations. The council has advised students to download their admit cards on time and follow the examination guidelines.
