Rafi Marg: Movement will be halted between the Golden Mosque and Agriculture Bhawan.

Enhanced Security Measures for Republic Day
An official revealed that for the first time, the Delhi Police will deploy AI-enabled smart glasses equipped with an Integrated Facial Recognition System (FRS) and thermal imaging technology for enhanced security during the Republic Day celebrations. These smart glasses, developed by an Indian company, will connect in real-time to a police database of criminals, declared offenders, and suspects, aiding personnel in identifying individuals in crowded areas swiftly.
Additional Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Devesh Kumar Mahla stated that these wearable devices will connect to mobile phones used by police officers, granting them access to the entire criminal database through the system. Mahla elaborated, "These glasses will be linked to officers' mobile phones, which will contain the complete database of criminals. If someone appears in a green box, it indicates no criminal record. If the box turns red, it signifies a criminal record. Officers can quickly verify all details, and if necessary, apprehend the individual immediately."
