Collective Artists Network has announced the launch of HistoryVerse, a bold new content universe that reimagines India’s vast historical and mythological legacy through contemporary storytelling. Introduced under its newly formed banner, Collective Studios, the slate comprises eight large-scale projects, spanning theatrical films and web series, marking the company’s most ambitious creative venture to date.
Positioned as one of India’s most expansive history-inspired storytelling initiatives, HistoryVerse draws from centuries of folklore, mythology, and historical narratives that have shaped the subcontinent. The slate takes inspiration from revered figures such as Hanuman, Krishna, Shiva, Durga, and Kali, alongside legendary historical icons like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
By blending cultural authenticity with modern cinematic sensibilities, the initiative aims to make these timeless stories resonate with today’s audiences, both in India and globally. The recently released Mahabharat series serves as the cornerstone of HistoryVerse, setting the creative and visual tone for what’s to come.
A Multi-Format Content SlateOf the eight announced titles, three are planned as theatrical releases, while two are being developed as premium web series, with the remaining projects currently in various stages of development. Each title is being approached with a strong emphasis on research, world-building, and visual scale, ensuring immersive storytelling rather than conventional retellings.
Collective Studios has emphasized that every project in the slate is being developed end-to-end – from scripting and historical detailing to cinematic execution – with the intent of creating long-lasting intellectual properties.

He shared that the initiative is not limited to films and series alone but is envisioned as a larger ecosystem encompassing experiences, gaming, and consumer-focused extensions.
This universe-led approach aims to deepen audience engagement, allowing stories to live beyond the screen and evolve into cultural touchpoints across multiple platforms.
With HistoryVerse, Collective Artists Network signals its long-term commitment to original, culturally rooted storytelling. The initiative seeks to bridge generations, introducing younger audiences to India’s historical richness while presenting familiar stories in a refreshed, contemporary format.
As HistoryVerse moves into production, it stands poised to become a defining chapter in India’s evolving content landscape – one that celebrates the past while shaping the future of Indian mythological and historical storytelling.
