Manchester United supporter group 'the 1958' have confirmed another demonstration against the Glazer family and Sir Jim Ratcliffe will take place at the upcoming home fixture against Fulham. They have warned more than 6,000 disgruntled supporters are expected to participate.

This weekend, Michael Carrick's team head to the Emirates Stadiumto take on Premier League leaders Arsenal. However, at the subsequent home encounter with the Cottagers, fans will stage a protest against the Glazers and minority owner Ratcliffe, who has been managing the football side of operations at the club.

The Glazers have faced criticism from United supporters ever since their takeover in 2005, while discontent has also growntoward Ratcliffe, following his £1.6billion acquisition of 27.7% of the club. As anger continues to spread throughout the fanbase, the 1958 have confirmed further action against the United hierarchy.

A spokesperson for the 1958 said: "Twenty-one years of a debt mountain, mismanagement and financial greed is 21 years too long. Enough is enough."

They continued: "We will not be complicit. Jim Ratcliffe, you have chosen your side, and it is not ours. You now stand shoulder to shoulder with the Glazers.

"For many, you come across as a clown, fumbling from one disaster to another, hopelessly out of your depth at one of the world's greatest football institutions, adored by millions. We were promised best in class, but for us the club is a laughing stock resembling a circus, and that includes the new stadium design."

Elaborating on why they've chosen to take action, the group added: "Earlier this season, we asked supporters if they wanted to protest. Many chose to give Ratcliffe time.

"That time has been squandered. The situation is undeniably worse. We beat City, but one swallow does not make a summer. This is not about Carrick and results. It is about our ownership.

"We have been down this path of false hope too many times. History shows what happens at our club with the dysfunctional ownership model we have. They are like a boomerang, and we cannot move on until they are gone."

The organisation has also suggested they're anticipating "well over the estimated 5,000-6,000 who marched peacefully against Arsenal last May" and describe it as "the biggest ever protest against Manchester United's owners, for the first time also officially directed at Sir Jim Ratcliffe."

United's latest triumph over City propelled the Reds into fifth spot. This position could be enough to secure Champions League qualification, subject to how English sides fare in European competitions this campaign.

Last March, Ratcliffe supported Ruben Amorim, before dismissing him at the beginning of 2026, after the ex-Sporting Lisbon boss criticised the board in, what turned out to be, his final press conference.

The club is searching for their third permanent manager following the dismissals of both Ten Hag and the Portuguese boss. Whilst Carrick has made a promising beginning, his stint in charge is anticipated to last only until the season's conclusion.
