Gogglebox favourite Ellie Warner has announced some thrilling personal news, with fans quickly rallying behind her.

Ellie made her debut on the Channel 4 programme in 2015 alongside sister Izzi - and the pair swiftly became viewers' darlings.

Throughout the years, Ellie and Izzi- who are based in Leeds - have left fans howling with laughter thanks to their witty remarks and amusing reactions to television highlights.

Beyond the show, Ellie enjoys a happy relationship with her long-term partner, Nat Eddleston. The pair, who have been an item for several years, welcomed their son Ezra in May 2023, and are now bringing up their family in a 1930s house in Leeds.

As for Ellie's profession when she's not gracing television screens, she works as a hairdresser. And this week, she had some thrilling career developments to share with her followers, reports OK!.

On her separate Instagram account devoted to her hairdressing business, Ellie disclosed she had purchased a caravan with plans to transform it for her work. The TV personality posted pictures of herself standing proudly beside her new venture.

In an extensive caption, Ellie penned: "INTRODUCING THE GLAMAVAN. Something that I've been working on behind the scenes since last spring! I've been wanting to create a private studio space to work in for a VERY long time. At first I was considering a garage conversion, but it turned out my garage wasn't a suitable structure.

"Then I thought what about a garden room? Fast forward to me getting chickens and their enclosure takes up the prime real estate in the gardens. Third of all, what about converting a bedroom? Nat didn't want it in the house, which I get. Then there go my dreams of creating a space to work in from home."

She continued: "Until one day scrolling on Facebook marketplace, as you do, I come across this beautiful little vintage caravan and I had a lightbulb moment what if I could convert this in to a little salon space? and so obviously I buy the caravan BUT it had already been lovingly restored by the previous owners, it seemed such a shame to be ripping it all out to change into a salon on wheels.

"Back to Facebook marketplace I went and in no time at all I found this beast for sale! Perfect for what I needed, stripped back to nothing and ready for the scrap heap eS luckily for me the person selling the caravan.

"@notanotherwhitebox Cameron, is an expert in restoring classic caravans to their former glory. This was one of his personal projects, that he had started and lost momentum with as other priorities took over. I felt like I had won the lottery."

She was tucked away in storage in Loughborough and isn't fit to be towed, so finding someone to transport her at a reasonable cost took a while. But patience is a virtue (which I lack), and it gave me some time to construct a carport on my drive as she needed to be sheltered, given that she's not currently watertight.

"She finally made it here in September, but until now, I haven't had the chance to make any headway. However, all good things come to those who wait, and good she will be. My brilliant friend Siobhan @interiorcurve will be collaborating on the project, and we're going to transform this modest piece of scrap metal into a showstopper. WATCH THIS SPACE."

Ellie's followers were quick to express their excitement and extend their congratulations to the TV star in the comments section. One person exclaimed: "This sounds amazing well done!" Another chimed in: "What a great idea! Looking forward to seeing the end product."
