Mumbai: Days after the trailer release of Hollywood movie ‘The Bluff’, SS Rajamouli took to social media to heap praises on Bollywood’s desi girl Priyanka Chopra for her fierce brutal avatar in the film, calling her ‘unstoppable’.
“Priyanka is unstoppable and always surprises… What a commanding presence and fiery performance. Looking forward to #TheBluff,” Rajamouli wrote on his X handle.
The Bollywood filmmaker also shared the note on his Instagram handle.
Touched by his words of appreciation, Priyanka reposted the note on her Instagram Stories and thanked the filmmaker by writing, “Thank you for your kind words sir (folded hands and red heart emojis)”.
In ‘The Bluff’, Priyanka plays Ercell ‘Bloody Mary’ Bodden, a former pirate queen who escaped her violent past to build a quiet life on a Caribbean island.
The adventure movie will debut on Prime Video on February 25.
Meanwhile, Rajamouli and Priyanka’s upcoming film ‘Varanasi’ went on floors in January last year and is slated to release during Sankranthi 2027.
The film also features Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles and is being touted as an adventure drama that spans continents and time.
