Washington, 23 January 2025, India is continuously developing, and in the coming years, India is working towards becoming the world’s third largest economic power. India’s progress in all fields is being noted across the world. Meanwhile, the head of IMF has also praised India’s progress. Referring to India’s success, IMF Chief Kristalina Georgieva said that India has done significant work, especially in terms of building Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and IT-skilled workforce.
He stressed that India’s potential in the field of Artificial Intelligence is very strong and impressive. The institute clarified that India is one of the leading global powers in the development of AI. According to IMF estimates, the use of AI can increase global economic growth by up to 0.8 percent. India is already a dynamic economy and now with AI its pace will become even faster.
Georgieva added, “The way India is adopting AI and making strategies to survive in the global competition is really commendable.” Clarifying a minor misunderstanding, IMF said that the previous comment was only a speculation by the moderator, whereas IMF clearly believes that India has the potential to lead the world in the field of technology.
