Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], January 23 (ANI): The league stage of the Rajmata Gayatri Devi Memorial Cup (06 Goals) turned up the heat at the PPC Ground on Thursday as Jindal Bedla, riding high after their first win, faced off against RPC/Thunderbolt with their sights set on a spot in the knockouts.
RPC/Thunderbolt started with a 2.5-goal advantage due to the handicap rule, but that didn't slow Jindal Bedla down at all. Led by Venkatesh Jindal and Rao Himmat Singh Bedla, the team put on a show, pushing forward with sharp, relentless attacks and flipping the match in their favour, according to a release.

The match had it all - standout solo moments and real teamwork. Siddhant Sharma owned the day, putting away 5 goals - including the very first just 30 seconds after the whistle, and also the last one to wrap things up. Phill Seller kept the pressure on through the middle chukkers, adding 4 more.

Venkatesh Jindal and Rao Himmat Singh Bedla didn't miss their chances either, each scoring twice to help the team's cause.
When the dust settled, the scoreboard told the story: Jindal Bedla registered an emphatic 13-3.5 victory, which helped them book their berth in the semi-finals of the tournament, scheduled for this Saturday.

Meanwhile, Rao Himmat Singh Bedla, the team's co-patron, was all smiles after the win, and he stated, "It was good fun; the grounds are playing so well. The other team wasn't as well-balanced as us, but it was great to get out there, run the horses, and find our rhythm together. It's always a pleasure to play as Jindal Bedla, and I'm very happy with how we are coming together ahead of the semi-finals."

Venkatesh Jindal also shared his thoughts, highlighting the team's chemistry. "The collaboration between Jindal and Bedla has been excellent. We are focusing on playing as a cohesive unit, and today's result shows that the hard work is paying off."

Polo in Jaipur keeps raising the bar for Indian sport- speed, strategy, and skill all coming together. This win just cements Jindal Bedla's reputation as the team to beat in the 06-goal circuit. With the semi-finals set for Saturday, the stage is set for an epic finish.

Right now, as the Jaipur Polo Season 2026 hits its stride, Jindal Bedla is the one everyone's watching. They're undefeated and hungry for more, heading into a weekend packed with top-class polo. (ANI)
