Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is said to have paid a visit to his future home, Marsh Farm in Norfolk this week, to check on how the renovations are going. The former Duke of York, who lost all his titles and honours, is set to vacate Royal Lodge in Windsor "within weeks".

Andrew's latest fall from grace came after new revelations about his relationship with convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, emerged, while he agreed to leave Windsor after it was revealed that he paid "peppercorn" rent through his tenancy. Various outlets claimed Andrew would be moving out of Royal Lodge by Easter, while it is now rumoured that he could make the move by the end of this month.

Now, after reports suggested the disgraced royal was initially reluctant to move to the much smaller property within the Sandringham Estate, sources claimed he is "resigned" to a brutal fact set by his brother, the King.

A source told The Sun: "It was the first time he's seen his new house, and he is resigned to the fact that this is his future.

"He's come to the conclusion that he has to get on with the rest of his life and accepts he has to make the best of it."

Removal vans have been spotted coming and going from Royal Lodge in Windsor, with Andrew's move expected to be imminent.

A 6ft wooden fence has been put up around a section of Marsh Farm in Wolferton, Norfolk, where the hedge is thin.

Marsh Farm is around two miles from the King's Sandringham House.

The former prince was stripped of his titles last year just before the posthumous release of Virginia Giuffre's book Nobody's Girl.

The memoir, which gives her account of being trafficked by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, includes allegations against a number of other individuals, including Andrew.

The book details previous claims that she was forced to have sex with the former prince on three occasions, including when she was 17.

Andrew vehemently denies the allegations.

He paid millions to Ms Giuffre to settle a civil sexual assault case, despite claiming never to have met her.
