A tragic incident has emerged from a hotel in the Kotputli-Bahrod district of Rajasthan, where the bodies of two young individuals were discovered. Authorities reported on Saturday that the initial assessment suggests a case of suicide.
Details of the Incident
According to police reports, the incident took place at the Gangaur Midway Hotel, located near Kankar Dopa village, under the jurisdiction of the Bahrod police station. The deceased have been identified as Indra Meena, aged 20, and Manju Dhanaka, aged 19, both hailing from the Ajabpura village in the Narayanpur area.
Police Response
Sachin Sharma, the Deputy Superintendent of Police in Bahrod, stated that the police received information on Saturday afternoon regarding the discovery of the bodies hanging in a hotel room. A police team promptly arrived at the scene, and a forensic science laboratory team was summoned to collect evidence from the room.
Timeline of Events
The two individuals had checked into the hotel on January 22. On Saturday morning, a friend of Indra visited them. After knocking on the door multiple times without receiving a response, he entered the room and found both individuals hanging, prompting him to alert the authorities. The police confirmed that the bodies were sent for post-mortem examination and later handed over to their respective families in the evening.
