The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has officially named Pamela Conti as the head coach for the Indian U17 women's national football team. The 43-year-old Italian has arrived at the training camp in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, where the Young Tigresses are gearing up for the AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup set to take place in China in April 2026.
Coaching Team and Upcoming Challenges
Joining Conti in her coaching staff is her brother, Vincenzo Conti, who will serve as the assistant coach. Nivetha Ramadoss will also continue her role as an assistant coach. Conti's inaugural assignment will be the SAFF U19 Women's Championship 2026, scheduled for January 31 to February 7 in Pokhara, Nepal. The Indian squad will feature players born in 2009 or later.
