A total of 394 apprentice positions will be filled across various states in the country through this recruitment. Selected candidates will receive 12 months of apprenticeship training. When will the registration for the Indian Oil Apprentice recruitment begin?

IOCL Apprentice Vacancy 2026: 394 Posts to be Filled
A total of 394 apprentice positions will be filled across various states in the country through this recruitment. These positions include Technician Apprentice (Mechanical, Electrical, Telecommunication & Instrumentation), Trade Apprentice (Assistant-HR, Accountant), as well as Data Entry Operator and Domestic Data Entry Operator positions. The region-wise vacancy details are as follows:

Western Region Pipelines - 136 posts
Eastern Region Pipelines - 101 posts
Northern Region Pipelines - 63 posts
Southern Region Pipelines - 40 posts

Recruitment will be done in the Eastern, Western, Northern, Southern, and South-Eastern Regional Pipelines. Region-wise vacancies show that the Western Region Pipelines has the highest number of vacancies with 136 posts, followed by the Eastern Region with 101 posts, South Eastern Region with 63 posts, Northern Region with 54 posts, and Southern Region with 40 posts.

Who can fill out the Indian Oil Apprentice form? Regarding educational qualifications, a Diploma/ITI in the relevant engineering trade is required for Technician Apprentice positions, a Graduation degree for Assistant-HR, a Graduation degree in Commerce for Accountant positions, and a 12th pass certificate for Data Entry Operator positions. All candidates must possess the required qualifications by January 31, 2026.

What is the age limit and stipend?

How is the selection done in the Indian Oil Apprenticeship?
The selection process will be entirely merit-based. No written test or interview will be conducted. Candidates will be selected based on a merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of a tie, the older candidate will be given preference.
